The Kwara State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi from Ilorin East Local Government as the Commissioner of State Executive Council.
The confirmation took place during a session of the Committee of Whole following Dr. Abolore-Alabi’s screening in the hallowed chamber of the House.
During his appearance before the lawmakers, the Commissioner Designate pledged a good working relationship between the Executive and Legislature to deliver dividends of democracy to the people. Dr. Abolore-Alabi also promised to align with the policy direction of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and assured the people of justifying the confidence reposed in his reappointment.
Speaker Engineer Yakubu Danlad-Salihu directed the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Abdul-kareem Olayiwola Ahmed, to communicate the notice of Dr. Afeez Abolore Alabi’s appointment to the Governor.
