On Father’s Day, the widow of Mohbad, Wunmi, moved fans with a heartwarming message to her deceased husband.

On June 15, with a moving post on Instagram, she paid tribute to the memory of Mohbad and remembered the feeling of her ever-constant presence.

You still turn up to me and Liam even in death.

Happy Father Day to our angel, she wrote.

The heartfelt post created an avalanche of responses on the internet.

Fans showered Wunmi with admiration and her continued loyalty to the memory of Mohbad.

Ever since his controversial death in September 2023, she has been one of the central figures in ensuring that his legacy lives on and in the fight to seek justice.

Wunmi has already talked about her problems as a single mother at 24.

During an interview in March 2025, she criticized the nurse who was accused of killing Mohbad and said that the latter was still moving on without feeling any guilt.

At the tender age of 24, she was widowed, and she said: “the nurse who turned me to a widow is living freely.”

Wunmi is a resilient figure despite the pain. The #Justice4Mohbad movement is still going.
