“I have paid the price for my daughter’s marriage , it must work,” actress Iyabo Ojo fervently prayed during a baby shower in Toronto for her daughter Priscilla Ojo and husband Juma Jux.

The emotional moment, captured in a video shared online, showed her declaring blessings over the couple’s future

Iyabo Ojo emphasized that although her own marriage ended, she has “paid the sacrifice” so that Priscilla’s love story will flourish.

“If mine didn’t work, yours will work … you will grow old with your husband… and you will be with your children,” she said

In her prayer, the 46-year-old addressed critics and onlookers, declaring divine protection over her daughter’s union and unborn grandchild.

She proclaimed: “Whoever wishes evil for another person’s child will be the one to experience it”

The baby shower was attended by friends and family in Canada, filled with music, dancing, and heartfelt blessings.

Iyabo’s words resonated: she invoked generational healing, breaking ancestral wounds, and affirming that Priscilla’s marriage is rooted in deep love and purpose

Despite her own marital challenges, Iyabo Ojo remains a figure of strength in Nollywood and beyond.
