Ghanaian Actress and entrepreneur Victoria Lebene has shared a candid and emotional account of her early life during an appearance on JoyNews TV’s Career Trail.
She revealed that her father frequently beat her, sometimes severely enough to leave physical wounds under pressure to perform academically.
Lebene described how her father demanded excellence, pushing her to ensure her books, homework, and grades were perfect.
When she faltered, his response was harsh physical punishment, often leaving her bruised and emotionally distressed
She said:
“He used to beat me to the point that I was left with wounds,” stressing that the discipline was often tied to academic expectations like mathematics and grammar assignments.
