Nigerian Afrobeat Superstar Davido has officially announced a “5ive Tour” for Nigeria, a nationwide concert series that will take his latest hits to fans across every major region.
Kicking off on October 26 in Akwa Ibom, the tour will travel north to Adamawa on October 29, head east to Enugu by November 1, then light up the southwest with a stop in Ibadan on November 9.
The grand finale will be a spectacular Christmas Day performance in Lagos on December 25, promising an unforgettable celebration to close out the year.
But this isn’t just any tour, it’s a carefully crafted journey through Nigeria’s cultural heartlands.
From the southern charm of Akwa Ibom to the northern rhythms of Adamawa, the eastern vibes of Enugu, and the western energy of Ibadan and Lagos.
Davido posted on his instagram account to announce the news to his fans.
The tour is named after Davido’s brand-new 17-track album, “5ive”, which dropped earlier this year and has already started making waves.
The album showcases Davido’s evolution as an artist, tapping into an eclectic mix of sounds and global talent.
Featured artists include Omah Lay, Victony, Odumodublvck, Chike, Musa Keys, YG Marley, Victoria Monét, Chris Brown, and Becky G.Standout tracks from 5ive include “Funds,” “Awuke,” “10 Kilo,” “Offa Me,” and “With You,” among other sngs on the album.
