Notably, the 2026 Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, with Trevor Noah hosting the prestigious event.‎

Tyla won the Best African Music Performance award beating out notable nominees including Burna Boy, Davido, Ayra Starr, Eddy Kenzo, and Mehran Matin.

Among the Grammy Awards winners were Bad Bunny, who made history as the first Latin artist to win Album of the Year for ‘Debí Tirar Más Fotos, and Kendrick Lamar, who took home Record of the Year for ‘Luther’featuring SZA.‎

In a recent Instagram post, Davido shared that after informing Chioma about his Grammy loss, she urged him to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.‎

”I said baby listen we lost again. let’s not go.

She said be humble in victory and gracious in defeat we outside“,The post reads.

Meanwhile, Aura V has made history as the youngest Grammy winner at years old.

She won Best Children’s Music Album for ‘Harmony’ alongside her father Fyütch at the 68th Grammy Awards

Additionally , Aura broke the record previously held by Blue Ivy Carter, who won at 9, and Leah Peasall, who won at 8 years and 10 months.
