Tottenham Hotspur have extended Club Captain Son’s contract until the summer of 2026.
The English club side made this known in a statement today after Son Heung-Min’s contract was due to expire at the end of 2024/25 Premier League season.
Expressing delight in the contract extension, the club statement reads, “We are delighted to announce that we have exercised the option to extend Heung-Min Son’s contract, which will now run until the summer of 2026”.
“Having joined the club in August, 2015, Sonny has become a global star during his time with us and a modern-day great for Tottenham Hotspur”.
The Korean International joined Spurs from German side Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has gone ahead to provide his club side with a total of 169 goals in 431 appearances.
