Dabchy, a Tunisian Fashion platform,  obtained pre-Series A funding through Janngo Capital while angel investors such as Karim Beguir of InstaDeep also joined the round.

The undisclosed financial aspect of this investment will speed up Dabchy’s growth and development of its platform across MENA markets and other expansion targets.

Dabchy transformed the Tunisian second-hand fashion industry when Ameni Mansouri Ghazi Ketata and Oussama Mahjoub launched it in 2016. • The company intends to increase its market presence throughout North Africa and the Middle East starting from its 2023 entry in Egypt.
  • In addition to its fashion merchandise Dabchy will introduce new categories which include home goods sports equipment books and games for its customers. The platform recently introduced “Dabchy Men” as a response to growing male interest in second-hand fashion products.

The platform gets enhanced through significant funding dedicated to strengthen logistics networks and improve supply chain management and enhance transaction security features for better user satisfaction.

The company’s CEO Ameni Mansouri expressed positive views about the firm’s future growth during an interview saying “This investment will enable us to expand our business operations while enhancing user interaction capabilities and increasing our market influence in the area.” The company aims to establish circular e-commerce as both sustainable and profitable.

According to investor Ashley Maddox the platform has developed an easy and digital method to shop for reused fashion products. Ameni’s leadership will guide the company to dominate North Africa and the Middle East while customers actively adopt this platform.

Dabchy advances its growth chapter while maintaining its mission to establish sustainable fashion standards while offering an easy-to-use platform for its expanding customer base.
