Modern marriage failures are reaching alarming rates, warns relationship coach Blessing CEO.

“Social media addiction tops the list,” Blessing reveals. Modern marriage failures often stem from partners prioritizing online validation over real connection.

Financial inequality ranks second. Many couples clash when earnings become unbalanced. “Men feel pressured, women feel unsupported,” the therapist explains.

Third is unrealistic expectations from movies and influencers. Blessing notes: “People want fantasy, not the work real love requires.”

Poor conflict resolution skills accelerate modern marriage failures. Many couples lack tools to navigate disagreements healthily.

Finally, declining patience destroys bonds. “Instant gratification culture ruined our tolerance for growth phases,” Blessing observes.

Statistics show divorce rates doubled in urban areas. Younger couples average just 4.5 years before splitting.

Traditional elders blame lost values. “We stayed for children and God,” recalls 70-year-old Mama Nkechi.

But millennials defend their choices. “Why suffer in silence?” challenges banker Tunde Balogun.

Blessing recommends premarital coaching and digital detoxes. “Protect your union like your life depends on it,” she urges.

As wedding bells fade, will society adapt? The solutions exist – but do couples care enough to try?
