During her fifth wedding anniversary celebration, Yoruba actress Lizzy Anjorin lashed out at Nollywood colleague Iyabo Ojo, accusing her of damaging lies and cursing her children.
The controversy erupted on Instagram, amid anniversary tributes featuring her husband, Lateef Lawal
Lizzy claimed Iyabo falsely informed her that Senator Dino Melaye had proposed with a diamond ring shortly after her wedding. She also alleged Iyabo arrived at her home late at night with armed men plotting to kidnap her ([turn0search0]).
“I still remember how you randomly called me, claiming Senator Melaye gave you a diamond ring shortly after my wedding… to do what?” she asked, describing these claims as “fabricating stories” on a malicious mission.
In an emotional message, she warned, “A good marriage is about building together… not about destruction.” She admitted placing “generational curses” on Iyabo and her children, claiming they had made her life unbearable since her marriage.
Fans were quick to react. One wrote:

Meanwhile, Iyabo Ojo has responded sharply.
In an Instagram video, she accused Lizzy of naming her and her family to a herbalist and threatening harm.
She denied all wrongdoing and clarified the defamation case between them remains unresolved.
