The public fallout between Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, and controversial activist VeryDarkMan (Martins Otse) has taken a dramatic turn after Phyna accused him of betraying her trust.

In a series of Instagram Stories posted on Thursday, this evening, Phyna alleged that she had confided in VeryDarkMan about sensitive matters regarding her sister Ruth’s case, only for him to later disclose those private details.

She expressed disappointment, saying she expected solidarity but instead felt exposed.

“But I confinded in a brother @verydarkblackman. Brother carry camera talk everything wey I tell am on code, because brother dey vex, and brother no check on sister when brother feel some kain way,”

Phyna wrote, stressing that despite the fallout, her focus remains on seeking #JusticeForRuth.

To back her claims, Phyna shared screenshots of her WhatsApp conversations with VeryDarkMan.

The chats appeared to show both parties discussing meeting times, warning messages, and multiple missed calls from her to him. She further included direct call logs to prove she attempted to reach him outside WhatsApp.

The dispute reportedly stems from the ongoing case involving Phyna’s sister, who was tragically killed in an incident with a Dangote truck.

VeryDarkMan had earlier accused Phyna of betrayal in handling the matter, a claim which she has now countered with her evidence.

The clash between the reality TV star and the outspoken activist has divided social media users, with some siding with Phyna for speaking up and others defending VeryDarkMan as a fearless campaigner who may have felt undermined.
