The speaker hosted Jandor on Tuesday at his official residence in Ikeja GRA, where he showed his excitement over ‘Jandor’s return’, noting that the APC remains the political party that truly reflects the aspirations of Lagosians.

Assuring Jandor of full reintegration and collaboration in the party’s collective pursuit of good governance, He said, “We are happy to have you back. This is a very good move”.

The Speaker praised Jandor for his courage and conviction, stating that the APC’s inclusive structure provides the right platform for unity and development.

Jandor appreciated Obasa for the hospitality and pledged his commitment to working with the APC for the benefit of Lagos State and Nigeria.

He then lauded President Bola Tinubu’s recent tax reforms, describing them as bold steps taken in the interest of the people despite opposition.

The meeting concluded with a pledge to work together to strengthen the party and enhance the welfare of Lagosians.

It is important to note that Jandor officially announced his return to the APC in March after resigning from the PDP, citing indiscipline and widespread anti-party activities as reasons for leaving.

He has, however, come under fire following his return to the APC with the Deputy Chairman of the PDP in Lagos, Tai Benedict, saying Jandor was allegedly planted by the APC to destabilise the PDP.
