A 2023 post in which VeryDarkMan appeared to ask Wizkid for financial help has resurfaced online, fueling debates amid his recent criticisms of the singer.

In the post, VeryDarkMan referred to Wizkid by several of his popular aliases and openly suggested that the superstar “run him some checks,” implying a request for financial help.

An old social media post made in 2023 by controversial online critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has resurfaced, sparking renewed reactions amid his ongoing criticism of Afrobeats star Wizkid.

The post, dated December 26, 2023, shows VeryDarkMan seemingly appealing to Wizkid for financial support.

In the now-viral message, he questioned Nigerians for not helping him secure assistance from the singer and directly tagged Wizkid, asking to be contacted.

In the post, VeryDarkMan referred to Wizkid by several of his popular aliases and openly suggested that the superstar “run him some checks,” implying a request for financial help.

The resurfacing of the post has reignited online debates, particularly in light of VeryDarkMan’s recent and persistent attacks on Wizkid.

Many social media users have pointed to the old message as a contradiction of his current stance.

Reacting to the trending post, a user identified as

@Honour Oriretan shared a detailed commentary explaining what he believes to be the reason behind VeryDarkMan’s alleged resentment toward the Afrobeats star.

The user wrote:

“This why VDM is biffing Wizkid, Hates him so much ~~It’s unw!se how VDM is personally hatingg Wizkid uncautioned cos he isn’t bowing to his egO as other “bigs” are doing which is getting him angryy, triggEring so much hatfs in him.

VDM draggedd Davido, ridiculedd, belittledd him to get his attentiOn & finally Davido who’s seeking greater fame swiftly stooped low, called him, linkedd up with him after flyingg, lodging him in a cOstly hotel, envelop touched his hand & till today both are tight friends making VDM’s mission very accOmplished..

VDM again dragghed Don Jazzy, insultedd, ridiculedd &belittled him jst to get his attention & quickly.

Don Jazzy used mOney to shutt him up &draw him close after wiringg N100m to him, linkedd up with him & more envelops touched his hand & till today, both are very tight friends making VDM’s mission very accomplished again which is so unw!se.
