Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has finally spoken out following the online criticism sparked by her photos with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Taking to social media, Toyin addressed what she described as a coordinated effort to shame and ridicule her after the images surfaced.

She warned that anyone targeting her without reason would eventually be exposed, emphasizing that she has proof to support her claims.

Responding to suggestions that some online attacks were paid for, Toyin said she remains unfazed.

She stressed that as long as she lives with a clear conscience and serves God, those plotting against her will not prevail.

The actress revealed that she possesses screenshots, WhatsApp messages, Telegram chats, and even videos of people allegedly admitting to being compensated to harass her online.

She added that anyone who accepted money to tarnish her reputation would ultimately face public embarrassment, insisting that the truth cannot remain hidden forever.

Her statement comes after an X user,

@mariolexxx, humorously admitted to repeatedly trolling Toyin’s posts following the release of her photos with Tinubu.

The user mentioned that members of a group chat encouraged others to repeatedly ask her, “Wetin Tinubu tell you?” under her posts.

Although the post was made in jest, it sparked a broader discussion about targeted online harassment.

Toyin, however, responded seriously, asserting that what appeared as jokes were part of a deliberate attempt to discredit her

She also clarified that while she has forgiven those involved, forgiveness does not mean she will stay silent.

According to her, the evidence she has collected will eventually speak louder than speculation and ridicule.

Finally, Toyin addressed claims that her previous silence indicated guilt, explaining that she had chosen peace over engaging in public disputes until the situation became too distorted to ignore.Read some comments below:

@AdejokeKhadijah commented:”Aunty Toyin, remember what I told you when i saw you at the cinema in December, that leave them God will open their yanshi, afefe ti fe bayi. Continue to wax strong sis mi.”
