Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Dr. David Oyedepo, has broken a three-year silence on national politics, openly criticizing President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Speaking to the congregation at the Faith Tabernacle in Ota on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the cleric questioned the government’s performance and accountability.

The bishop spoke out after a long period of staying away from public political commentary.

His return to the pulpit with a strong message has drawn widespread attention across the country. “You Are Not Doing Well”

Oyedepo blasted the government for its performance, he said:

“You’re not doing well; you’re not doing well.

They must tell you that you’re not doing well. What’s your problem? Hear me, please, hear me. Is this government doing well?”

He argued that any leadership unable to protect citizens or stabilize the economy has no right to demand blind loyalty or praise.

He warned that the challenges facing the nation can only be solved through honest action and genuine performance, not political propaganda.

The Bishop highlighted the widespread economic hardship and insecurity affecting Nigerians.

He warned against attempts by politicians to influence citizens ahead of the 2027 general elections, despite the ongoing struggles faced by ordinary Nigerians.

The video of Oyedepo’s speech has gone viral, sparking mixed reactions online.
