The biggest streaming service in the world and the biggest movie platform has started billing old-time subscribers. Old-time Netflix subscribers in some countries who use the platform for less off their Apple iTunes will start paying for the subscription directly via their credit or debit card. Netflix came out to say this via “The Verge”
It was first reported the movie platform had started notifying these customers in some countries to be prepared to have their plans switched.
MoMo Zhou, Netflix spokesperson said the change affects members in some territories who started with the movie app with iTunes method of payment. He also said the United States and Canada are included in those territories.
members on the basic plan who were using an iTunes method of payment,”

Old-time subscribers have really had a good time for less fees on the movie platform.
An old-time subscriber on Monday came out to distastefully drag the movie platform for telling her to pay the normal fees the regular subscriber pay, as she and her colleagues had been paying $9.99 for years.
However, subscribers in this boat will have to pay a $5 increment on their original plan or settle for a plan with ads that is $3 less to what you have been paying or reconsider to leaving the platform.
Apple and Netflix haven’t been best of friends since Apple added its in-app subscription options to iPhones in 2010. Netflix didn’t add in-app subscriptions to its iOS app until half of the last decade due to the disagreement in profit-sharing.
Netflix decided to drop the in-app subscriptions on Iphones 6 years ago, its hasn’t changed its mind ever since.
