Former Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has called on Ghanaians to rally behind the Black Stars as they prepare for their crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.


After missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Agyemang-Badu stresses that team unity and forward thinking will generate success for upcoming matches.

On March 21 the Black Stars welcome Chad at Accra Sports Stadium followed by their next match against Madagascar in Morocco on March 24.

Ghana remains in second place of Group I with nine points because they share this position with Comoros.

The national audience should forget previous failures to back the team during their World Cup qualifying endeavor according to Agyemang-Badu.

Jordan Ayew remains the Black Stars captain according to team management and Agyemang-Badu requests supporters to acknowledge this decision along with moving forward.
