A prominent Ghanian lawyer, Victor Adawudu, blames government appointees for NDC’s election defeat, citing poor strategy and internal divisions as key factors.

A lawyer belonging to the NDC has recently denounced government candidates as the main reason for the party’s weak showing during the 2024 elections.

He delivered a stern evaluation which presented his view that the party lost its base support because of its factional indiscipline alongside ill-advised decisions.

Multiple rounds of NDC intra-party discussions have sought solutions for why the party lost despite initial voting polls that favored it.

The lawyer who spoke confidentially pointed to three principal mistakes that occurred.

The allocated funds in swing election regions were managed improperly according to allegations.
