Bright Ede is causing transfer turmoil this summer.

The centre-back left-footed is the focus of an intense battle between the Arsenal and Chelsea.

It is reported that Chelsea is the most eager to sign him with a view of loaning him to Strasbourg to gain experience after making a deal.

Arsenal have not thrown in the towel with the club reportedly scouting him in the past few weeks.

The 18-year-old defender has made just six appearances with MotorLublin, and scored once, but his worth has increased to above £11 million.

That would break the Ekstraklasa transfer record.

The interest of Chelsea started at the end of May when the club officials made initial negotiations with Motor officials at the UEFA Conference League final in Wroclaw.

Bright Ede enjoys the interest but remains focused in his current club.

He says the interest is “flattering and motivating,” but he remains focused on helping Motor Lublin prepare for pre‑season.
Having received the attention of various European giants, the future actions of Ede may change his career.

Be on the lookout of breakthrough negotiations in the weeks ahead. Bright Ede race should be tracked because of the conflict between the ambition of Chelsea and the persistence of Arsenal. What is likely to happen by the end of the month.
