At a glamorous event held on July 20, 2025, at the Palacio Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Divine Ekemini Nelson was officially crowned the 24th Miss Earth Nigeria.
The pageant was organised by Queen Bae Studios in partnership with Miss Earth Nigeria, under the leadership of National Director Ibinabo Fiberesima.
Nelson, a 22-year-old student pilot from Ikot‑Mbong, Etinan LGA in Akwa Ibom State, stood out among a group of intelligent and poised contenders. Upon her crowning, Fiberesima said:
“We are proud and delighted to announce that … MISS DIVINE EKEMINI NELSON … emerged as Miss Earth Nigeria 2025 … and … will represent Nigeria at the world pageant in the Philippines later this year”
The runners-up will join Divine in the national slate of environmental advocacy and awareness campaigns before the international event
