Nollywood actress Evans Okoro has accused her estranged husband, Chibuzor Erikife, of issuing death threats after she asked for a divorce.

In a now-viral video, the actress broke down in tears while sharing her ordeal.

Okoro alleged that Erikife failed to pay her bride price when they got married, and that his family recently refused to settle the traditional obligation.

“The day they came to marry me, they forgot to pay my bride price. It’s not on my head,” she stated.

The actress also claimed that her husband became violent and issued serious threats when she expressed her desire to leave the marriage.

“He told me that if I leave him, he would kill me,” she cried.
