Nigerian musician, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade praises Fireboy DML for improving his songwriting skills early in his career, calling him “miles ahead” in pen game.
Afro-fusion singer Oxlade has opened up about the pivotal role that fellow artist Fireboy DML played in his early development.
During a recent livestream with content creator Shank Comics, Oxlade revealed that Fireboy was instrumental in transforming his songwriting ability from basic to refined.
“When it comes pen game, nobody is touching him. I learned how to properly compose music from Fireboy… He was miles ahead. He was part of my transition into making proper music before I started doing my own thing. He putting me on was life-changing.”
