Talented Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck recently made waves on social media with his heartfelt reflections about his unwavering support for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

In a sincere post on X, he declared that if he had ₦1bn, he’d gladly give it to the church and even more. But his deepest conviction wasn’t in the zeros of a bank statement; it was rooted in the values of genuine faith and purpose.

“If I had a billion to contribute to the RCCG, I would do it and even more. It is not by force to serve the Lord… As for me and my household, we will continue to support the work of Christ shamelessly, no matter what you people throw at us.”

“The church needs money, much more money than the average business. Do you have an idea of the number of people your priest or local pastor supports?… After church, you and your family just go to Mr Biggs and have a nice weekend.”

Odumodublvck’s message wasn’t just about giving; it was also a gentle critique of how some treat faith as transactional. He pushed back against the idea that financial contributions alone justify spiritual care, emphasizing that the church’s role is more profound than pinning ‘tithes equals blessings’.
