Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has revealed the sad story of the demise of his first born child.

He revealed his daughter passed away in a Lagos hospital simply because he couldn’t pay the medical bills.

Chatta claimed that he took her to a hospital in Iddo and even walked to Makoko begging people to give him money at Ijora Badia.

He was so emotional on the set that he remarked, “Malik is not my firstborn”

” I have a baby girl as the first child. I did not have money to pay hospital bills, so I lost her.”

The hospital was not able to treat her in time because it was not able to meet the costs.

He also told that he had to bury her in a wooden Coca‑Cola crate because of poverty.

“My first child was buried in the old wooden crate of Coke,” he recalled, describing the scene as both heartbreaking and humiliating

The case of Chatta is a wakeup call on the consequences of not having access to healthcare.

His words have sparked empathy, with many applauding his honesty and calling attention to Nigeria’s urgent healthcare funding needs.
