Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly called out her estranged husband, Frederick Leonard, accusing him of having an affair with a married woman and delaying their divorce proceedings.
The actress made the claims in a post shared on her Instagram story, alleging that Frederick was the one who filed for divorce but failed to appear in court after being served with the necessary documents.
“You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn’t show up when you were served.
Please don’t avoid the customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd, because I’m coming with receipts, and let’s get this divorce done and dusted,” she wrote.
Peggy further accused the actor of being involved with another man’s wife, claiming the woman in question has four children.
She also alleged that Frederick had previously denied her claims through a blogger.
The actress stated that after seeing the details contained in her divorce petition, he chose not to appear in court and instead sent his lawyer to represent him.
“So-called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with 4 children.
You ran to a blogger that I was lying, but when you were served and saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen 1 out of many,” she added.
Her latest outburst comes months after she made a cryptic post on social media asking women what they would do if they discovered their partner was involved with a married woman with children.
Speculation about marital trouble began after Frederick Leonard didn’t publicly celebrate Peggy’s birthday last year, and intensified when she shared solo Christmas photos.
