Ibifubara, the psychologist and Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate who was evicted during the first double eviction, has voiced her frustrations over being underrepresented on television.
In a recent interview with Arise TV, she admitted:
“I brought in a lot of fun, I did what I could, but those parts were not shown to the audience. What I thought was happening inside was not seen outside the house as much.”
Explaining further, she said the crowded environment with 29 contestants and cameras capturing multiple angles simultaneously made it tough to stand out. Reflecting on her time inside the house, she added:
“I did this and that but where exactly are the clips? I wish people had seen more of me.”
Her eviction, alongside Danboskid, left 27 housemates continuing their quest for the ₦150 million grand prize.
Many viewers on social media echoed her sentiment, pointing out the competitive nature of screen time on reality TV and how editing often favors more dramatic personalities.
For Ibifubara, this early exit was bittersweet though she entered the house with energy and charisma, the lack of airtime made it feel like her true self didn’t reach audiences at home.
