VeryDarkMan has questioned the credibility of an alleged interrogation video involving a retired military officer accused of participating in a coup plot, stating that he saw no convincing evidence against the suspect.

His remarks have generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting his concerns about due process while others criticized him for commenting on a sensitive security matter.

Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has stirred reactions online after sharing his thoughts on an alleged interrogation video involving officials said to be from the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) and a retired military officer accused of involvement in an alleged coup plot.

In a post shared online, VDM said he watched the full interrogation footage and was left with more questions than answers regarding the case.

According to him, the interrogation process appeared flawed, and he could not identify any clear evidence being presented against the suspect.

“I Just Came Across This Alleged Interrogation Video Involving Officials Said To Be From The DIA (Defence Intelligence Agency) And a 76-Year-Old Suspect Arrested In September 2025 Over Alleged Coup Plotting Claims.

After Watching The Full Video, I Was Left With More Questions Than Answers. In My Opinion, The Interrogation Process Appeared Deeply Flawed, And I Could Not See Any Clear Evidence Being Presented Against The Suspect.

Honestly, It Left Me Wondering Whether The Authorities Have a Strong Case At All.

If This Is The Quality Of Investigation Being Conducted, Then It Raises Serious Concerns. Major General Ibrahim Gana Appears Innocent To Me Based On What I Watched, And Keeping a Man Who Dedicated Decades Of Service To Nigeria In Detention Under These Circumstances Does Not Seem Fair.”

The comments quickly generated reactions online, with users expressing varying opinions about both the video and VDM’s assessment of the situation.
