Nigerian investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has hit back at Adedeji Adeleke, the father of music star Davido, over his son’s DNA saga with Anu Adeleke.

Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday that the singer’s father had held a press conference to address the paternity controversy involving his son.

He stated that Anu is not his granddaughter and shared details of DNA tests he claimed were conducted in the past.

He accused investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, of impersonating the minor online to attack Davido.

He read a message he said was sent by Anu’s aunt, denying ownership of a social media account allegedly used to post statements attributed to the child.

The singer’s dad questioned the legality of impersonating a minor and accused Olunloyo of persistently targeting his son.

Mr Adeleke said the family is considering legal action over what he described as sustained defamation.

“This Kemi Olunloyo has been after my son David for many years. Everything she says about David is always negative.

We are going to consider suing her”.”

Kemi Olunloyo claims that she was my late wife’s best friend.

How can you be my late wife’s best friend and I don’t know you? I’ve never met you… the woman is a lunatic…”

Reacting to the video, Olunloyo slammed the singer’s father, making it clear that she had opened Anu’s Instagram account and later handed over the password to her before leaving Nigeria.

The journalist claimed she conducted an investigation into the situation and discovered that Davido allegedly used his cousin, B-Red’s, phone to chat with Anu’s mother before they slept together.

She said she wants the preteen to live a good life and opened an account for her, where she has been saving money.

She added that Anu would have access to the account when she turns 18.

Kemi Olunloyo has responded to the paternity denials from the Adeleke's family.

She continues to maintain that Davido is the biological father of Anu, despite Dr. Adeleke’s presentation of DNA evidence that suggests otherwise. pic.twitter.com/8sByyEiWx9
