While narrating how his father, Remilekun Amos, a legendary gospel singer, went missing, the singer said his father disappeared in November 2000 after he was invited to Akure, the capital of Ondo State, for a ministration.

Expressing his pain, the singer in the heartbreaking video said his children have been asking him to tell them about their grandfather.

“My father, Remilekun Amos, was declared missing when he went for that missionary journey in November 2000, and that was the end.

“He was invited to Akure. A Yoruba proverb says “omo eni ku, o san ju omo eni sonu lo” meaning (a dead child is better than a missing or lost child). 26 years counting now.

My children are asking me to tell them about grandpa. No one can feel the pain more than the victim, which is me,” he said.
