Popular billionaire businessman Obi Cubana and controversial social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) have finally put their long-standing feud behind them.

The reconciliation happened at a recent event in Abuja, where the two exchanged greetings and hugged warmly, a moment that quickly went viral online.

The unexpected reunion shocked many Nigerians, especially those who remembered the intensity of their clash last year.

The feud reportedly began after Obi Cubana criticized blogs and social media culture for promoting disrespect toward elders, a remark widely interpreted as being aimed at VDM, who is known for his outspoken and confrontational style.

VDM publicly fired back, accusing Cubana of hypocrisy and attacking his reputation, which escalated into a high-profile online feud with their supporters engaging in heated debates on social media.

In the trending video, both men appeared relaxed, smiling, and chatting briefly, suggesting that all issues had been resolved behind closed doors.

Reactions online have been mixed but largely positive.

One commentator wrote, “Wow, peace is really priceless.”

Another said, “This one shock me, I no expect am.”

Others remarked, “So all that online dragging don end like this?”

Whether the reconciliation was planned or spontaneous, the message is clear: Obi Cubana and VDM have moved on, proving once again that today’s online enemies can become tomorrow’s peace partners.
