Nasboi launches a 36-day campaign, kneeling across Nigeria’s states, aiming for a collaboration with Davido. The journey began in Osun State, highlighting his dedication to his musical aspirations.

Nigerian comedian and singer Lawal Michael, popularly known as Nasboi, has commenced a distinctive 36-day campaign across Nigeria, seeking a musical collaboration with Afrobeats superstar Davido.

This idea involves Nasboi kneeling daily in each of Nigeria’s 36 states, symbolizing his earnest request for a feature from the artist he affectionately refers to as “001.”

The campaign kicked off in Osun State, which holds significance as the home state shared by both Nasboi and Davido.

On the second day, Nasboi continued his journey in Kano State, maintaining his daily kneeling ritual.

He shared on Instagram:

“In 2019, I started mimicking Davido to get his attention for my music, but the videos blew me up as a comedian.. (God’s plan)
I am back to plea with 001.

Bless me with a verse for this song king.

I will be kneeling across 36 states for 36 days.

I pray this dream comes to pass.

Please as a fan of Nasboi, just tag @davido everyday when you see the post… Day 001 Osun state, 35 states to go.”

Nasboi’s journey into the entertainment industry began in 2019 when he gained attention by mimicking Davido’s voice and mannerisms in skits titled “Low Budget OBO.”

These videos propelled him to fame as a comedian, leading to roles in various comedic characters like Akpan and Ikechukwu.

Despite his success in comedy, Nasboi has remained committed to his musical ambitions, releasing tracks such as “Small Money,” “Short Skirt,” and the viral hit “Umbrella” featuring Wande Coal.

This heartfelt campaign shows Nasboi’s dedication to his music career and his admiration for Davido.

Fans and followers are encouraged to support his endeavor by tagging Davido in related posts, amplifying the plea for a collaborative effort between the two artists.
