Nollywood actor and content creator Ganiyu Kehinde, widely known as Ijoba Lande, has raised alarm after claiming he was allegedly assaulted by police officers in Lagos State.

In a video that surfaced online, Ijoba Lande was seen inside his car requesting water from friends, who reportedly refused and insisted he be taken to a police station instead.

According to reports, the actor was allegedly beaten by officers at a fuel station.

It was also claimed that his phone was confiscated and some money was taken from him.

Following the incident, he was reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

In a separate video shared by the skit maker, his friends accused officers from the Area J Police Station of being responsible and claimed the policemen boasted about their actions.

Ijoba Lande was later taken to the station to formally lodge a complaint.

Fans who reacted to the videos expressed outrage and disappointment.

Many questioned the police’s role as protectors of the public, while others called for answers regarding the incident.

Several commenters also voiced concern about citizens’ safety, wondering who would safeguard Nigerians if such acts were carried out by law enforcement.
