Movie producer Ajemba Stanley Chibueze, widely known as Stanley Ontop, has accused Martins Vincent Otse, popularly called Verydarkman, of being involved in the arrest of actress Angela Okorie
Ontop had previously visited Okorie at the Suleja Correctional Centre and shared updates on her condition, appealing to Nollywood star Mercy Johnson to assist in securing the actress’s release.
In a recent statement, Ontop claimed that Verydarkman played a role in Okorie’s detention, urging the activist to swear that he had no involvement, while alleging that he orchestrated the arrest.
He added that the Ratel President was present at the National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCCC) when he checked on Okorie.
Ontop also alleged that it was the NCCC that arraigned Okorie in court, and that Verydarkman was present during the proceedings.
He further claimed that the activist had been pleading with Mercy Johnson to forgive Okorie.
The producer accused Verydarkman of managing the case and ultimately betraying his friend.
He also cautioned Mercy Johnson to be wary of sharing information with the activist, suggesting that Verydarkman might use it against her in the future.
Stanley Ontop concluded his statement by expressing his affection for both Mercy Johnson and Angela Okorie.
