Nigerian Singer Ruger has reacted to the alleged rift between him and his senior colleague, Davido.

Davido’s fans have repeatedly accused Ruger of beefing him and taking side in his rivalry with Wizkid, after he publicly expressed his admiration for the latter and his fans.

A fan of Davido on X recently claimed that Ruger’s career would be stagnant until he publicly apologies to the DMW boss.

“When you’re ready apologize and beg Davido publicly, your song will enter No 1,” a fan wrote.

Responding, Ruger asked,

“And did Davido tell you I did anything wrong to him?

In another post, Ruger explained that he has no issue with Davido and he believes that he is cool with him, too.

He emphasised that he would never believe that Davido is beefing him until he said it to his face or publicly.
