San Salvador Catholic Church will host Katlego’s funeral service starting at 8 AM on Saturday, February 1 while burials will take place afterward at South Park Cemetery. As a way to commemorate Katlego’s legacy attendees must follow the black with baby blue dress code because these colors were personally important to him.

The family maintains the privacy surrounding how he passed away but thanks everyone for their support and asks for both respect for their privacy and continued prayers. Social media users responded overwhelmingly to Katlego’s weekend death with countless messages of respect coming from industry professionals and his fanbase.

Among the most poignant tributes was a heartfelt message from Katlego’s cousin, Thando, who shared her grief on Instagram: “My angel, my first love, my soul sista. I never expected death to arrive this quickly in our future. My heart is broken. My healing process stopped when you left me with an injury I know I cannot mend. Although I have no words now I hold your love forever until we reconnect one day.

The entertainment industry of South Africa felt a major blow when Katlego died although she showed promising growth within different entertainment fields. Contributions in acting alongside reality TV and music alongside DJ work already showed signs of success that suddenly ended tragically.

The family arranged several memorials because Katlego influenced those surrounding her yet simultaneously wanted every person to participate who knew her personally as well as professionally.
