Ugandan activist Frank Gashumba and his wife, Patience Malaika Mutoni, faced online criticism for their lack of public displays of affection during their first public appearance at The Ben’s concert in Kampala.

Ugandan media personality and activist Frank Gashumba has come under scrutiny from netizens following his first public appearance with his wife, Patience Malaika Mutoni, after their traditional Gusaba ceremony.

The couple attended The Ben’s concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel on Saturday, May 17, 2025.


While both appeared relaxed, observers noted that Gashumba rarely held his wife’s hand or displayed other forms of public affection during the event.
