Nigerian Actress, Shaffy Bello discussed her perspective on dating younger men during a recent appearance on the podcast Diary of a Naija Girl.
She explained that she once dated younger men for fun. It was a phase of her life she thoroughly enjoyed.
However, she has since entered a different phase.
“It was fun once, but that phase is over,” she reflected.
Today, Shaffy says, she’s seeking something deeper, potentially marriage or a meaningful companionship that aligns with her evolving priorities.
Instead of casual flings, she now values emotional readiness, mutual understanding, and stability in relationships.
Regarding messages she receives from younger admirers, Shaffy admits she finds them amusing and even a bit baffling.
Ultimately, she’s clear: she no longer resonates with that chapter of her past.
