In one of African women’s football’s most remarkable finals, Nigeria’s Super Falcons stormed back from a 2–0 halftime deficit to beat hosts Morocco 3–2 and clinch their record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title at Rabat’s Olympic Stadium.

Morocco looked on course to lift their first WAFCON trophy, led by captain Ghizlane Chebbak, who opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
Just 10 minutes later, Sanaa Mssoudy doubled the lead with a composed finish, leaving the home crowd brimming with optimism
But the second half belonged to Nigeria. Esther Okoronkwo clipped home a penalty in the 63rd minute after VAR intervened.
