According to Angela Okorie, a beloved nigerian actress, many fellow actresses in Nollywood are envious of her iconic style, decades-long career, and confidence.
She said not everyone can afford or handle the lifestyle she lives or the image she projects.
Okorie emphasised her long-standing presence:
“I have been grinding for years… some of them still dey beg for role as of when I dey run elections for people in power cos of my crowd” — stressing that her influence cannot be replicated overnight.

She also called out those who mimic her fashion choices:
“No be the cloth na who wear am”, suggesting that style is about authenticity and presence, not just threads.
Angela’s message is unapologetic: she built her brand the hard way, and others can’t replicate her worth.
