Speaking in Lagos on Tuesday during a visit by journalists, Shunfa addressed concerns about international perceptions of doing business in Nigeria.

“I think the most serious challenge we face in attracting new investment is the prevalence of rumours.

He insisted it is time Nigerians “pity” the actress and stand by her amid claims of a troubled and allegedly abusive union.

The man, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @gentl_introvert, called on Nigerians to forgive Regina Daniels for her past mistakes and focus on her current ordeal.

He stated:

“I feel like it’s high time we pity Regina Daniels and at least forgive her for mocking her peers.

Her marriage with Ned Nwoko has truly become a bitter one, and if we don’t do anything, such abusive marriage will continue.

Arresting her family members should be out of line.”

His position has also deepened concerns over the lingering leadership crisis within the party, with fears that unresolved divisions could weaken its performance in next year’s polls.

Wike revealed that Governor Adeleke had personally visited him to discuss the situation, during which he warned the governor of the “danger” facing his political future
