Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen open to Manchester United move as €75m talks progress, following a prolific season at Galatasaray.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is currently exploring a summer move to Manchester United as negotiations progress for his €75 million transfer.

Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli Osimhen has rediscovered his form by scoring 33 goals across 37 games while helping his team chase the Super Lig championship.

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim aims to reconstruct the squad after their failed 2024/25 season.

The club has identified Osimhen and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres as its top choices to fill the No.9 position in the attack.

The summer tension between Osimhen and Napoli forced him to join Galatasaray on loan.

The €75 million release clause from Galatasaray prevents the club from keeping Osimhen so Manchester United can now negotiate for his transfer.

Osimhen has established himself as a top target because of his proven goal-scoring abilities and willingness to join the Premier League.
