The Hearts of Oak goalkeeper said that encouragement from fans and his consistent form at the club level played a major role in his recent national team selection.

During his reflection on his football journey Benjamin Asare expresses gratitude once more to the people of Ghana.

He confessed that discipline together with talent remain critical factors yet positive supporter belief served as his driving force for continued success.

Asare states that this call-up belongs to every person who demonstrated their belief in him.

Asare earned his place on the Ghana national team squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches against Chad and Madagascar where he posted two clean sheets.

His exceptional displays in goal established him as one of the leading goalkeepers in Ghanaan football.

Both analysts and fans commended his leadership from the goalmouth alongside his calm attitude because these traits helped Ghana maintain a stable defensive organization.

During this Ghana Premier League season Hearts of Oak has relied heavily on the 32-year-old goalkeeper for their successes.

Throughout the season Hearts of Oak has collected crucial points from his effective reactions and defensive leadership within the penalty area.

The Hearts of Oak coaching staff together with the team’s intense competitions allowed Asare to develop his abilities according to his own assessment.

Dedication alongside your commitment to hard work enables success when you maintain faith in the designated timing.

He thanked the national team selectors as well as the coaching crew for understanding his contributions which enabled him to play for Ghana’s national team internationally.
