Nigerian award-winning singer Burna Boy has poured out his heart in a note, clarifying his recent behaviour to his fan.

The Grammy-winning singer topped headlines when he told a fan to leave his show for sleeping.

Addressing it in a now-deleted post on his Instagram story, he revealed that he was joking around with his band, and people misinterpreted it as him hating his fans.

The singer noted that he is fighting his own battles and has never sought pity or help.

He made it known that he reciprocates any love and respect shown to him.

Tendering an apology, he noted how people don’t post any good he does, but go wild when they feel he has fucked up.

He said he had sought people who never acknowledged his existence before, posting negativity about him.

“Btw, I was joking around with my band about something else.

Not necessarily in this situation, and you have spun it as usual, saying ‘Burna Boy doesn’t live his fans’.

If you hate me so much, either kill me or leave me alone.

I’m fighting my own battles, and I never come out here to look for pity or help.

I love those who love me and respect those who respect me.

I sincerely apologise. If I’m wrong, I’m not always right, but I feel right about this.

Anyway, I’m just human, so fuck me.

They never post any of the good I do in this world, but they go wild and viral when they feel I’ve finally fcked up.

I’ve seen people who never even acknowledged my existence before now posting ‘this is not cool’ or writing thick pieces on me now.

Everybody on the internet is perfect and holy except Burna Boy”.

A few weeks back, Burna slammed his colleagues.

He said he has more than all his colleagues and bragged about being good at rap.

He had shared a word of advice to those with opponents.

He said the streets ain’t what they used to be as the old rules no longer apply, and stated that the way he sees things, everyone is a civilian now.

The ‘Like To Party’ singer added that there is no more sliding as he advised people with opponents to sue them in court and take their money.

The Grammy singer had revealed some jaw-dropping revelations about himself, revealing that the new him misses the old him.

The singer expressed how bewildered he was that the old him couldn’t even understand the new him and thought the new him was Soft for not being so angry all the time.

Last year, Burna Boy surprised many when he revealed the names of artists who paved the way for him in the industry.

Burnaboy named 2baba, Timaya, Dbanj, Larry Gaga and Wande Coal as the only veterans he respected in the music industry, and tremendously impacted his life and career.
