“Data Drains Fast”, Ghanaian comedian DKB discovered after using his old 92 GB data bundle. He says it once covered movies and plenty more online activity.

Now, new bundles vanish fast, even without heavy usage.

DKB shared his frustration on social media. He said he once enjoyed a full day’s entertainment and still had data left. But a recent 92 GB plan barely lasted a few hours. He demands an explanation.

Many Ghanaians echoed his concerns. One commented that data seems to deplete faster than ever.

Another shared a tip: they buy an extra 10 GB near expiry to extend their bonus days.

Consumers worry about stealth data drains.

They ask if throttling, hidden background downloads, or overpriced surcharges are to blame. And they’re calling on telecoms to publish clear usage trackers and transparent terms.

When bundles disappear mysteriously, customers question contract fairness and service quality.

DKB’s challenge is timely. As many work and learn online, reliable data plans are more important than ever.
His public stance may force telecom operators to act.
