Yaa Jackson says that awards do not define her, but her fans are all she needs.

The Ghanaian star had an open interview where she revealed how she has managed to get peace beyond having to win awards.

To Yaa, the best success is to reach out to people who love her music and acting and not trophies.

She said, “Awards are cool, but I am not running after awards.” I am driven by my fans. That is the actual score.”

She admitted that it was not that easy to break into collaborations but she takes pride in how far she has gone.

Yaa also valued the assistance of Shatta Wale on her new song Moses, as she considered it as a boost.
