Popular Ghanaian dancehall act Ara-B (Rashad Sfarijlani) has officially exited the Shatta Movement, the record label fronted by dancehall star Shatta Wale.
The announcement was made on August 13, 2025, through a heartfelt statement shared on his official Facebook page and reported by Ameyaw Debrah.
In the announcement captioned “In God I trust… I did my time… Those who know the truth know… Been too real and loyal… No need to explain, I’m out for good… God is the greatest.”, Ara-B confirmed that his contractual commitments have either been fulfilled or legally terminated.

He reiterated his independence, expressing gratitude to fans and partners for their support through the years and hinted at a “bold new phase” for his career.
The Afro-dancehall artist, known for his contributions to tracks like “Hajia Bintu” with Shatta Wale has expressed his confidence in carrying his career forward without affiliation.
The shift allows him full autonomy over his music releases, branding, performances, and business decisions.
Ara-B’s departure brings an end to one chapter and signals the start of another. A career path marked by increased creative freedom and fresh collaborations.
