Award-winning actress Yvonne Okoro has ignited a fascinating discussion about relationships across West African borders, expressing her preference for Nigerian men during a compelling interview on Ghana’s premier entertainment show, Showbiz 360.

The accomplished 40-year-old actress, who embodies both Nigerian and Ghanaian heritage, offered a nuanced perspective on relationships during her conversation with host Majid Michel. Okoro articulated that her preference extends beyond financial considerations, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence and respectful behavior in relationships.

“Nigerian men are better,” Okoro stated with conviction, elaborating that while financial stability matters, the combination of genuine affection, respect, and emotional investment holds greater significance in her evaluation. Her unique cultural background, being born in Tamale, Ghana, to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother, provides her with distinctive insights into both cultures.

The acclaimed performer, whose career spans successful roles in both Nollywood and Ghollywood productions, emphasized her desire for a comprehensive relationship experience. “I want the whole package,” she expressed, highlighting the importance of finding a partner who can fulfill multiple aspects of a meaningful relationship.
