Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Commissioner‑General Anthony Kwasi Sarpong visited Coca‑Cola Bottling Company Ghana Ltd. as part of intensified efforts to enhance tax compliance and foster strong government-industry collaboration.

The tour underscores GRA’s strategy to engage key private sector players in its ambitious revenue mobilization agenda.

During the visit, Sarpong acknowledged Coca‑Cola as a leading taxpayer and emphasised the importance of transparent financial declarations and responsible business conduct.

He urged industry peers to support Ghana’s economic reset by ensuring full compliance through proactive engagement and self-reporting.

For GRA, this outreach aligns with broader institutional reforms aimed at expanding the tax base especially in the digital and informal economy while maintaining constructive relations with corporate stakeholders.

Among its targets for 2025 is achieving GH¢200 billion in tax revenue, tied to efforts to broaden compliance and modernise revenue collection systems.
