Medikal addressed the backlash of a backstage fan by saying “I did not deliberately touch her buttocks”.

rapper whose real name is Samuel Adu Frimpong, came out to speak following the videos that recorded him embracing a female fan. He emphasised that the contact was accidental and regretted that it offended anyone.

The incident occurred in a recent concert where excited fans rushed toward the front. Medikal explained that it was crowded and that he was just trying to make space and not because he was offending anyone.
His management is yet to make an official statement.

It was not long before netizens came up with their own judgments as some accused the star of misbehavior and others asked them to calm down, until facts are established.

Medikal stressed on the fact that he respects fans and women rights. He does not want this episode to cast a shadow on his music and his tour plans. The rapper begged to be understood and assured to be more considerate when close to others.

The open reaction of Medikal can calm down the situation as the dust settles. The fans and critics will be looking to see whether this I Didn t Mean It! moment turns into a mere slip or a permanent blemish.
