Grammy‑nominated Afrobeats superstar Davido revealed a humbling chapter from his early days in Atlanta, where he served as a makeshift errand boy for music legends Don Jazzy and D’Banj during their visits between 2007 and 2009.

The younger star shared a now‑viral anecdote: he would freestyle for the duo and drive his father’s Rolls‑Royce to pick up McDonald’s on their behalf

Reflecting on this period, Davido said:

“In Atlanta, 2007 or 2008 or 2009… In my father’s house, I was freestyling for Don Jazzy and D’Banj. He sent me to go and buy McDonald’s with my papa car ,  Rolls Royce.”
